“How can natural and electrical daylighting affect museum spaces? This article seeks to answer that question, focusing on the challenges of ultraviolet (UV) light and artificial illumination–which can both deteriorate works of art. It uses a case study of a New York City museum to illustrate the effectiveness of light-emitting diodes (LEDs), clerestories, and skylights.”
