MIDDLETOWN — After reviewing 21 applications, the city has selected a firm that will develop a master plan for Connecticut Riverfront redevelopment.
Responses were the largest level of interest in a city project in recent history, according to a press release from Mayor Ben Florsheim. The city has hired an “outstanding” team of partners led by the world-renowned, New York City-based architecture and urban design firm Cooper Robertson.
The team will also include Langan, one of the nation’s leading engineering and environmental services firms, and Karp Strategies, a firm dedicated to community-driven economic development strategy, the news release said.
