Senior Associate

Since joining Cooper Robertson in 2015, Alfia White has served as a designer on many of the firm’s most prominent cultural projects, such as the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Programming and Space Study and Museum of Modern Art Support Space Study and subsequent renovation. She has also worked on master planning and architecture projects for universities and schools, both domestically and abroad. In her current role on the Studio Museum in Harlem team, Alfia leads the coordination between the design details and building systems to develop construction documents of the art handling, museum support, and interior public spaces. Her mindful and thorough detailing, and dedication to her craft, has elevated her to a key player in the cultural practice of our firm. She holds a Masters in Architecture from Tulane University.

Alfia was recently named one of Commercial Observer’s Top Young Architects of 2020.
